Monday you will have an opportunity to get extra credit on the next test.
Later this week you will get the details of an interdisciplinary report that will also earn you points in Mr. Cohen's class.

Test soon focusing on the modern scientific connections and global ideas of society, law, and civilization.

Of Mice and Men

This week we will enjoy the John Malkovitch/Gary Sinese film version of the Steinbeck novel.
We will be completing compare and contrast, character, and theme/setting charts as we watch.

The Red Pony

Periods 2 and 8 will have a full-period test this Friday.

Period 2
We will continue our famous quote logs.

Period 8
You will continue work on your worksheets. All work is due at the end of each period. All worksheets will count as classwork and will be placed in your portfolios.

End of Marking Period

All classes, be aware that the first marking period ends on March 18th.

Period 3 should be especially happy with their report cards.

THIS IS FOR PERIOD NINE ONLY

Next week is a four day week. We will continue listening skills with Ms. DeLuca.

As of Friday, January 16th, we will have done 14 listening exercises, all of which were to be handed in. These count as classwork.

This is more than adequate preparation for your final exam.

Next week is a short week. We have only four classes.

All four listening exercises will be collected and averaged together.
That score will be your final exam score.

Obviously, attendance is vital. Any absence MUST be accompanied by an absence note or there will be NO makeups.

We will use the same rubric Ms. DeLuca has used for all listening exercises this semester.
